What is Deep Creek MOPS?
MOPS International has been ministering to mothers of preschoolers for over three decades. MOPS realizes that mothers with children from infancy to kindergarten need a supportive outlet where they can fellowship and grow. Our meetings consist of breakfast, a guest speaker or activity, small group discussions, and a creative activity. While MOPS mom’s are enjoying a time of rejuvenation at the meeting their children while be participating in the MOPPETS program. MOPPETS is conducted by child care workers for children 0 – 5 years old. Although, we do suggest that infants younger than 4 months old be kept with their mother in the meeting. We also have Mom’s Night Out and play dates throughout the year on various days at various times.
MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month September-May from 9:15-11:15 am at Deep Creek Baptist church in the Family Life Center (gym). Childcare is provided. We would like mom's to arrive at 9:00 am to get settled in.
Fees:
$25 fee up front to reserve the spot and register with MOPS International
Dues will be $150 for the year (this includes the $25 up front fee) and will be paid per semester.
